Carlos Olguin, CoFounder, and CEO of LogicInk have established an exceptional multi-disciplinary team that is pioneering new chemical and biological materials, and their applications in temporary wearables resembling visually transforming ‘tattoos’. These smart tattoos sense conditions such as pollution levels, blood alcohol concentration, or the accumulation of UV radiation from the sun. Carlos has considerable expertise in programmable matter applications developed in part after founding the Bio/Nano/Programmable Matter Group at Autodesk –later Autodesk Life Sciences. His joint work at Autodesk has been featured in The New York Times, The Economist, Forbes, Fast Company, two talks, DLD, Wired, Techonomy, among other media outlets.

Carlos holds an MSc in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon; a BSc in Electronics and Communications from ITESM Campus Monterrey (Mexico); and has completed accredited graduate studies in systems and molecular biology at Columbia University.
