Karim is the inventor of Digitsole and Zhor-Tech, the first smart footwear group worldwide. He developed the concept from the original idea to the commercialization.

Karim graduated from the Ecole des Mines de Nancy where he studied Industrial Systems Engineering. After graduating in Innovation Marketing and Technology Transfer, he worked for different big footwear brand and founded Glagla International and Baliston International; a company producing sports equipment and the first ventilated shoe.

Karim Oumnia has always innovated, since he is the inventor of the Ultralight (lightest football shoe worlwide), the Glagla Shoes (1st ultra ventilated shoe), the Digitsole (1st heated interactive connected sole) and most recently Zhor-Tech (1st smart footwear tech-provider).

Winner of the Crystal shoe awarded by the French Shoe Federation, Entrepreneur of the Year in Lorraine awarded by the New Economist, he won more than 50 prices in 25 years dedicated to the footwear industry.
